Laurens Way Tanning Mousse

I love tanning, fact. I am currently stocking up on my tans for the autumn and winter months, the tought of an all year round tan sounds awesome! My skin looks better, I look slimmer, my stretch marks don't look too bad and I am always ready to go out on the town should the need arise!

I bought the Laurens Way tanning kit on their website around a week ago and I was waiting for my current tan (Xen Tan) to wear off before I could give this a real go.

The Tanning kit consists of a Lotion and a Mousse for £20... not too shabby! The mousse was the first to be tried out and I have taken the below pictures at night, in my room with the light and flash on as it was the only way that showed my skin true to colour. I didn't tan my face, hence the headless pictures.

BEFORE

This mousse is like no other I have tried, when I squirt it onto my mitt, it seems very dark... I was stupid enough to use two pumps for one arm. Dont make that mistake, its not worth it and your arm turns green because theres so much on there. I quickly had to try and even it all out before it dried. and it dries fast, I almost had a complete disaster. I had to change mitts half way thorough because the mousse seeped through my Xen Tan mitt and all over my hands... Damn you crappy Xen Tan mitts! Anyway...

DURING

Beautiful colour right? So olive toned and dark. I love my tan dark, plus I already have a bit of a left over Turkey tan. I will put the same top on to show you how the colour looks... gross I know, but in the interest of science... and this review, I'm going to do it.

AFTER

There is a definite difference in colour in real life, I have gone from an NC25 to an NC30/35, pretty good going!

My face is NC25 for reference, I could definitely do with it being darker.

At £20 for the tanning kit, this is an absolute bargain! I also used the code tan456 to get £5 off the tanning kit,  so I bought 2 sets! Why not eh?!... Click here to go to her tanning products! I hope the code works for you... if  not... Sorry!

I saw the before photo and thought "oo, her tan is nice" thinking it was the after photo, haha. I am PALE though so that's the colour fake tan makes me (I'm NW15).

The result is really nice! Definitely not tangoed.

i love the colour!! very natural. maybe i should give it a go, St Tropez makes me break out though, so a bit cautious with tanning mousses.. :)

@Andee- I know I love tans that don't make me orange! Just nicely olive toned :)

@Catriona- I would be around an NW15 or less in winter with no tan, I'm almost ghostly White! so an all year round tan sounds fantastic for me this year!

@DiamondDigger- oh no! I've never heard of St Tropez breaking people out, I prefer lotions if my skin is feeling a little dry, but a mousse is just faster for me!

@Stina - You definitely do! Its cheaper than Xen Tan and gives exactly the same result!

@Nic - Yea you can :p You can never have enough! Im stock piling for Autumn Winter and possibly Spring too! haha!

@Sortingoutmymess - Its a beautiful olive tone, one that only Xen Tan has been able to give me in the past, and its cheaper!

I really expected it to come out really orange (and Lauren like!) but I'm surprised how good it looks! Will definitely consider this as my summer tan fades and I need a bit of colour xx
